Version 2026-09-27-v2 (adds optional tool summaries and insurance-related request context; requests acknowledged under the earlier 2026-09-27 version keep that version). Plain-language summary of how we handle information you send us.

Who we are

PolyJacking.ca is an informational website and assessment-request intake point operated as part of the HAUSE network (hause.ca). Contact: info@hause.ca.

What we collect

  • Details you enter: project type, property type, problem description, city, province, postal code, timeline, name, email and (optionally) phone
  • Photos you choose to upload
  • Technical context: the page you submitted from, the page you first arrived on, referring site and campaign tags if present, browser user-agent, and a one-way hash of your IP address used for spam rate-limiting
  • The time and version of the privacy acknowledgement you gave
  • Optional: the purpose of your request, your role, and, if you choose insurance-related documentation, where you are with your insurer. We do not ask for policy or claim numbers — please leave them out
  • Optional: a tool summary (self-check, area or photo checklist) you choose to attach

How we use it

  • To review your request and route it to the HAUSE intake process
  • To share it with a contractor or partner who may be able to assess your project
  • To prevent spam and abuse
  • To contact you about your request

Sharing

Your request is forwarded to HAUSE’s lead-routing service and may be shared, under the consent you give in the form, with HAUSE and a concrete assessment contractor or partner so they can review your request and follow up about your project. Photos are stored privately; recipients receive time-limited links.

Tool results

Results from our tools are kept only in your browser tab (session storage) and contain no contact details. They are sent to us only if you attach them to an assessment request and submit the form; you can remove them before sending.

Insurance-related requests

If you select insurance-related documentation, that context is shared with HAUSE and the concrete assessment partner handling your request. Submitting the form does not file an insurance claim and does not notify your insurer; only you can do that. Neither HAUSE nor the contractor decides insurance coverage.

Storage and retention

Submissions are stored in a secured database and private file storage. We keep requests only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above and our legal obligations.

Your choices

You can ask to access, correct or delete your information by emailing info@hause.ca with the reference number shown after you submitted.
